Our own conversion shop manufactures the most precise coach interior on the market today.
Our electrical systems are designed by a certified electrician. The interior has been built and designed by the best the industry has to offer. Absolutely no shortcuts are taken in our manufacturing process. Our attention to detail and “precision” is what sets us apart from other interior manufactures.
With personnel that have toured on coaches, they bring an understanding and make it a priority to “get things right”. Our mission is to deliver the most innovative and comfortable interiors available. Pioneer Coach interiors will long be recognized for their value and setting the standard for the industry.
Our Design Team
Lucinda Rountree
Lucinda is one of Nashville’s most prominent interior designers. Since the inception of Pioneer’s conversion shop, Lucinda has specialized in complete design project coordination, space planning, window treatment design, furniture selection, bedding ensemble design, artwork and accessory selections and color coordination. Her work has been featured in magazines, newspapers and books where she has been profiled for her use of bold colors and exciting finishes. Lucinda works with a design “team” comprised of some of the area’s leading faux finishers, tile specialists, electricians, carpenters and installers. She travels to trade shows and conferences around the country to obtain the most unique and innovative textiles and furnishings keeping her current with the latest trends and developments in the design field.
Jamie Simmons
Jamie is a veteran of twenty five years in the music industry with over fifteen years in the coach building business. He was a cabinet maker for nine years before entering the coach business. He is self taught as a draftsman and in Auto-Cad. Jamie put himself through electrical school and is said by others in the business to “set the standard that everyone else copies”.
Josh Legg
Josh is a professional craftsman with more than twelve years experience. He spent more than six years in plumbing, remodeling, cabinetry and hardwood flooring. Four years have been spent in solid surface work and upholstery. He has been called the “best interior guy” around. He has been building coach interiors for the last six years. All of this combined with a desire to raise the standard in the industry make Pioneer Coach’s products truly the best available.
Keith Piper
Keith has spent many years doing mechanical and interior work on coaches. He brings a lot of talent and experience to the Pioneer Coach interior team. With more than ten years of combined mastery in fabrication, mechanics, electrical and plumbing, it has been said that he is “the best there is at whatever he wants to do”.
Chris Troutt
Chris has been in the interior business for five years. He has specialized in carpentry and upholstery for over three years. Solid surface work is another area he has had experience and has ability in. Chris’s desire to do everything right the first time makes him a key member of our team.
Max
Maximus has been a member of the team from the time he was six weeks old. He keeps a close eye on the guys while they work. He even joins in at tossing the ole pig skin around during breaks. His keen eye for precision and detail makes him play a key role in keeping these guys in line during the day.
