Pioneer Coaches
are all Prevost XLII’s. We have a variety of slide-outs, straights, and star coaches and have the ability to custom fit any type of tour. We strive to meet exactly what you request, and we follow through with every commitment.
The Owner
Doug Rountree has put “the right people on the bus” by building an operations team with over 45 years of combined experience in the bus leasing industry. Wayne Linder, the Operations Manager, has 13+ years experience as an entertainer coach driver. This experience provides him with a unique advantage in setting up your lease. Gerald Gooch, the Driver Relations/Safety Manager, has 18+ years of experience driving entertainer coaches and keenly knows the “in’s and out’s”. Our drivers play a critical role in both keeping and growing our business: they are not only the face of Pioneer Coach but they’re also your daily link. For that reason, we value them just as highly as we do our fleet. Lewis Roberts, the Shop Manager, leads our DOT-certified mechanics and oversees our preventive maintenance program and repair needs. Meanwhile, our interior shop builds both our own and tour-specific interiors, thus maintaining the control over the quality.
